The picture (fig.1) illustrates spoiled frankfurters. They are of poor quality and show dark red patches of microbiological slime. The area of slime is produced by Gram negative bacterium Serratia marcescens (fig.2, 3).

Zkažení párků (obr.1). Tyto párky jsou nízké kvality a vykazují tmavší místa s hlenem mikrobiální povahy. Hlen je produkován Gram-negativními bakteriemi Serratia marcescens (obr.2, 3).
